After it was discovered that the popular taco kit did not contain a vital safety warning, major supermarkets recalled it.

Thursday, the 350g Old El Paso Hard n Soft Taco Kits were recalled after it was discovered that some kits contained a sachet that did not state it had milk. Milk is a known allergen.

Food Safety Australia stated that consumers with a milk intolerance or allergy may experience a reaction to the product.

The dinner kits are available at Woolworths, Coles, and SA stores in NSW and QLD.

Independent retailers, including IGA stores in TAS and QLD and Coles stores in TAS, sold the product.

The kits that are affected have a “best before” date of 30 June 2024 and a sachet labeled “Ckn Ndl.”

Taco kits should not be consumed by consumers with milk allergies or intolerances.

Any person who is concerned about their health needs to seek medical advice.

You can return the kit to your place of purchase and receive a full refund.
